I thought about tonight to start making more music for the Domenstain title, but it seems that I lack the motivation I once had back when I started. I've had to try to find other studios and mess around with them, but it doesn't feel the same anymore. I feel as though I want to give up on an electric sound and give you all quality, and real instruments. Not that you all hate electric, but it wasn't my goal back then to make a name with electric music. I'm a drummer, and I feel a certain gravity about playing the drums, and starting a band so that next time you see the Domenstain title, it's a band sound, not the electric music scene.
I will put out the songs that I had deemed unworthy of newgrounds as one last look at the whole set though
Despite the direction I want to go, I want to thank you all for having gotten me this far, plenty of views and plenty of downloads underneath my belt now. I can't tell you all how much it means to me when I see that you've liked my stuff for this long, I certainly never saw it going this way. I remember being 15, 16 and just wanting to be a name on newgrounds, no kind of idea on why or how. And though not the number one, I certainly feel I've participated.
What can you expect for the future? Well, sadly, not much on my own anymore. I'm not very prominent in much music other than the drums, so until I can figure out how to record that, I'm through trying computer music. From my post in october, I can honestly say the chances of a brand new album are pretty slim for Domenstain for say. I have musical plans, but I want to leave what I had in 2016 to 2016. This isn't the first time I've come back with nothing left to offer either, and it probably won't be the last.
If I had to set a date for a final hoorah, the final nail in the coffin for a Domenstain song, expect it latter year or even next year. I've been focusing a lot of time into my classes and finding a job, I've been operating on the same computer since I joined this site, about time for new hardware.
One last thank you to everyone who gave me a listen, and who gave me downloads. You guys are entirely how I got to this point, and why I wanted to even come back and try. Sorry to whomever I let down.
Forever and Always,
Domenstain

You can still do music during down time even if it's just composing little snippets on paper. When a really good break comes up where you don't have a lot on your plate, maybe try your hand at composing custom loops if not full tracks of music using your drumming skills. There's a violinist I stumbled across on YouTube that performed a song using nothing but their violin and loops of them playing different verses.
Who knows, you could become a drum tutor or mentor to pursue you interests. You still have time to make this happen even with a full load; I've gone to classes with individuals that played in a band and solo. Things will work out just keep your chin up.
